The automotive directive reportedly to be submitted to Cabinet for approval within days
The Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade is currently finalising the latest draft of the automotive directive, which is expected to be submitted to the Cabinet on 13 July 2016, Minister of Industry, Tarek Kabil, said. The strategy mainly aims at providing tax and other incentives to assemblers who meet a domestic component ratio of up to 60% within a given timeframe. (Al Borsa)
