Shura Council to discuss recommendation to provide appropriate environment for women drivers
Saudi Arabia Shura Council is planning to discuss recommendation that calls for providing an appropriate environment through which women can be able to drive. A member of the council, Sultan AlSultan, has submitted the recommendation, aiming to lessen the transportation burden on Saudi families as many women find difficulty to accept jobs due to high drivers’ costs. AlSultan's recommendations call for the ministries of Labor and Social Development to arrange with the Ministry of Interior to undergo the study. (Al Hayah)
