NTRA studying offering the 4G licence in a bid process
The National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) is looking into offering the 4G licence in a bid process. The NTRA will set a price floor for the licence and the operator with the highest bid will be granted the right to be the sole 4G provider temporarily for three months. The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Yasser Al Kady will convene today with the operators and the NTRA to discuss some details on the 4G licence offering and resolve any pending disputes.
