Natural gas supply for steel plants to be cut starting mid July
Egyptian steel manufactures received a note from the Ministry of Petroleum that natural gas supply to steel factories will be cut starting mid-July till the end of August. Tarek Kabil,? Minster of Trade and Industry, also noted that the decision to decrease the price of natural gas from USD7/mmbtu to USD4.5/mmbtu is still under revision. (Al Alam Al Youm)
