The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) reported earnings of EGP13.4bn in FY16-17, up by 8% Y-o-Y. Total deposits grew 54% Y-o-Y, while the bank’s NPL ratio had fallen to 2.1% by Jun 2017, compared to 2.3% in Jun 2016.
