Nakheel Properties (Nakheel) has announced AED4bn (USD1.1bn) worth of new developments across Dubai: i) Palm Beach Residences, a residential tower on Palm Jumeirah, featuring 250 one-, two- three-bedroom apartments; ii) Jenan Heights, a multi-purpose project in Discovery Gardens, comprising 2,500 apartments across nine towers; iii) Jumeirah Park Villas, offering 174 four-bedroom units in the Jumeirah Park community; iv) a new 252-room hotel in Jumeirah Village Circle, targeting the mid-market segment; and v) six marinas worth AED165mn, to be built on the company’s Deira Islands master project. Construction for all projects is due commencement in 2Q18, with the exception of the marinas, whereas construction is scheduled to start in 4Q18 and conclude by late-2019.
