The GM of Islamic Arab Insurance (Salama) Ahmed Sami Sharif has resigned. Jean Safi, who is the reinsurance manager and head of the non-motor business will assume the position of acting GM. Salama is a leading provider of Islamic based insurance and operates in more than 60 countries. (Bloomberg)
