IMF may extend visit to finalise timing of key reform measures
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation may stay for another week to try and reach an agreement on a timeline for key reforms, according to a senior government official speaking to Youm7. Both entities are discussing timelines for floating the EGP and reducing fuel subsidies, which are the two key components of the economic reform programme, according to the source. The Central Bank has been pointing out to the delegation that it already has a set timeline to devalue the EGP, said the source. (Youm7)
