Abraaj group is seeking to acquire 75% of Misr Café with a deal expected to be closed in the next two months, as the company has finalised its due diligence, Al Borsa reported on 6 January 2016. Misr Café was established in 1984 as a private shareholding company. Currently, the company specialises in the production of instant and roasted coffee with 5,200 tonnes/annum total combined capacity along with some other complimentary products. The company exports to 24 global markets, ten of which are within the MENA region. (Al Borsa)
