Finance Ministry to propose stamp tax on EGX transactions today
Ministry of Finance will reportedly propose a stamp tax on EGX transactions to the Ministerial Economic Group today for discussion before submission to Parliament for ratification before May. The proposed rate is 0.125%, and to gradually rise to 0.175% by the third year.
