Transport Ministry launches nine road projects in Eastern region
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Transport launched today nine road projects worth over SAR 1.5bn in the Eastern region, the Ministry said in a statement. The 550-kilometre road projects include implementing new roads and completing older ones. The step comes as part of 37 road projects the Ministry is implementing with a total cost of around SAR3.5bn, covering the majority of the Eastern region. In addition, the Ministry is also implementing regular maintenance and precautionary projects worth over SAR1.7bn to guarantee road safety.
