Trade Ministry warns dairy companies against raising prices
The Ministry of Trade and Investment has warned dairy companies against increasing their prices by 10 % through any kind of agreement between them, according to unnamed sources quoted by local newspaper Al Medina, adding that such an action would be considered a violation of market regulations and companies would face severe penalties. Earlier, another local newspaper reported that a number of dairy companies were planning to raise prices by 10% in October 2016. (Argaam)
