Egypt's trade deficit narrowed by 17.4% to USD42.640bn in 2016 from USD51.606bn in 2015, according to a government official. Exports rose to USD20.285bn in 2016 from USD18.670bn a year earlier, while imports have been reduced to USD62.925bn from USD70.277bn in 2015, the official said. (Reuters)
