Thomas Cook to extend flight suspension to Sharm El-Sheikh to mid-Feb 2017
Thomas Cook plans to extend its suspension of flights to Sharm El Sheikh until mid-Feb 2017, as the UK government continues to warn against travel to the city except for essential travels since November last year. The company had said in March that that it was extending the suspension to 31 October 2016, it had previously been set to expire on 25 May. Meanwhile, Chairman of the Tourism Committee at the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce said that Egypt had met all requirements for private security procedures at the city’s airport. (Al Borsa)
