Saudi government planning on establishing holding companies for state-owned healthcare providers, to eventually list on Tadawul

The Ministry of Health is planning to establish a holding company that will own 20 to 30 companies across the Kingdom, in line with the government’s plan to separate the state-owned healthcare companies from the Ministry of Health, according to Al Madina newspaper. The government is planning to transfer a number of the state-owned healthcare providers on to holding companies within the next five years, to be listed eventually on Tadawul. (Argaam, Al Madina)
