Saudi court dismisses charges at Mecca crane collapse case
A criminal court has dismissed the charges against 13 people over a crane collapse in 2015 that killed 110 people and injured 209 in Mecca. The Mecca Criminal Court said it had no jurisdiction to rule on the case, in which the defendants were accused of negligence, damaging public property and ignoring safety guidelines. The court has reportedly ruled that there was insufficient evidence to hold the defendants responsible for the collapse. (Arabian Business)
