Saudi Airlines planning to list stake in cargo arm

Saleh Al Jasser, the Saudi Arabian Airlines’ Director-General, told Al Arabiya TV that the carrier could list 30% of its cargo business as part of the state-owned carrier's privatisation plan. The IPO date has not yet been set, he said, adding that the process is pending relevant regulatory approvals. Jasser stated that the airline's private aviation or medical business could be listed after the cargo unit. The national carrier is also planning to list its maintenance and flight academy units, as well as the airline itself.
