Remittances must not exceed sender's income in a newly considered mechanism

The Finance Ministry, the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), and other relevant bodies are planning a new mechanism - to be launched soon - whereby remittances should not exceed the senders' incomes. Any income obtained by expatriates will be linked with banks, without exception, through a unified network. The project aims to limit labor market violations and illegal income of expatriates. (Arab News)
