Saudi Arabia's non-oil private sector marginally expanded in October, supported by growth in employment and new orders. The Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) rose to 53.8 last month from 53.4 in September. Employment growth accelerated to a seven-month high of 51.3 from 50.7. Output growth slowed to 56.1 from 56.7, but growth of new orders rose to 56.7 from 55.1.
