The sultanate's petrol production in January posted a 12.9% fall Y-o-Y, with output shrinking to 6.07mn barrels from 6.97mn barrels, according to latest statistics released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI). Diesel output recorded a fall of 8.3% to 1.62mn barrels, compared with 1.77mn barrels last year. (Muscat Daily)
