Pasta maker Regina to double exports to USD40mn annually, denies curbing investments
Egyptian pasta maker Regina is targeting to double exports to USD40mn per year in the next 24 months, while currently exporting c35% of its production, company CEO, Kareem Abou Ghali, said. The company also denied recent reports of halting expansion plans due to FX volatility. Although the recent EGP floatation has made the company cautious in passing on price increases, it has improved prospects for the domestic market. (Enterprise)
