NTRA signs three-party agreement with MNOs and SIM card retailers
The National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has signed a three-party agreement with the three MNOs and the SIM card retailers to minimise the losses of the latter due to the ban on the sale of unregistered SIMs. According to Al Borsa, the new set of regulations should be enacted on the 20 January 2016 and should help the MNOs achieve higher profitability from the sale of SIMs. (Al Borsa)
