New proposals for drug price increases for multinationals and state-owned producers

Multinational pharmaceutical producers have reportedly continued their rejection of the Minster of Health’s proposal offered last week. Sources at the Chamber of Pharmaceutical Producers said it is not against the concept of special price increases for multinational producers in the local market and state-owned companies, such as: increasing  prices of 40% of their medicines by 20% every six months, while increasing  30% of medicines produced by private local companies by 15% every sixth months, the source added.
