New Chairman selected for Madinet Nasr; 4 million share buy-back programme closes today
Madinet Nasr for Housing & Development (MNHD) has sent a release to the EGX yesterday announcing: i) the selection of Engineer Mohamed Hazem Barakat, as a non-executive Chairman of board, replacing Engineer Ahmed Mohamed El-Said, who passed away last week; ii) the inclusion of Engineer Ahmed El-Hitamy, General Manager, to the board and the expansion of his responsibilities to include those of the Chairman of the board and the CEO, to be effective upon the convening of a General Assembly Meeting; and iii) the approval of a share buyback programme of 4 million shares, representing 1.07% of the total outstanding shares, at EGP18.8/share.
