National Cement Company will announces early next year the details of its restructuring plans, according to Yasser El-Naggar, Chairman of the Chemical Industries Holding Company. The company will focus on: i) rationalising spending; ii) increasing production capacity; iii) improving the final product; iv) ensuring continuous maintenance of machines; and v) increasing exports. The company will also focus on its essential shift from coal to gas. It is worth noting that the National Cement Company has been trying to exit from its loss-making investments Suez and ElNahda Cement.
