Masdar wins bid to build 800MW solar project in Dubai
Abu Dhabi’s Masdar won a bid to build a 800MW solar plant in Dubai. The Masdar-led group submitted the lowest bid to supply power to DEWA from the planned facility. DEWA said at the time that the lowest-cost bid of five received would provide power for 2.99 cents a kilowatt-hour. The project will become operational by 2020. (Bloomberg)
