Makkah’s SAR9bn Fourth Ring Road project 75 complete
More than 75% of the 65km Fourth Ring Road project in Makkah is complete, as quoted by Khaled Al-Faisal, Makkah Gov Prince. The SAR9bn (USD2.4bn) project is supervised by the region’s development authority, implemented by the Makkah Secretariat, and being integrated with the Makkah road network and bus and train services. Al Faisal said that the road will ease traffic congestion and pedestrian traffic in Makkah and neighboring Hajj sites.
