Majid Al Futtaim says Mall of Egypt to open in March 2017
Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) has set 02 March 2017 as the opening date of its EGP6bn-project in Egypt, Mall of Egypt. The mall will have a gross leasable area (GLA) of 165,000 sqm and will include 350 outlets and 50 F&B outlets. We note that the mall was planned to open this month, which may imply a six-month delay, but it is unclear whether the mall would come on stream over stages through March 2017, or in one-go in March 2017.
