Kuwait is reportedly planning USD10bn Sovereign debt issue in May 2017
Kuwait Finance Ministry is reportedly in talks for a Sovereign bond issuance totaling USD10bn. The Kuwaiti government is considering proposals from 3 local financial institutions, and may hire four additional foreign banks for the debt issuance, according to Al-Anba newspaper, citing Kuwaiti officials. National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), Kamco and Kuwait Financial Centre are reportedly the local firms that offered proposals.
