Jazeera Airways: court-appointed inspector to assess damaged equipment
Jazeera Airways (JAZK.KW) announced that a court has assigned a specialised expert from the Ministry of Justice to inspect the location of the radar-equipped balloon, after one of Jazeera’s aircraft made contact with it in August 2017. The purpose of the inspection is to assess its functionality in order to assess the degree of damage and estimate the magnitude of losses from the incident. Similarly, experts will also conduct an inspection of Jazeera’s aircraft, which collided with the balloon radar, and its engines to assess the value of repair for the damage and its cause.
