Health Ministry agrees on allowing for the increase of medicine prices; timeframe is yet to be set
The Chamber of Pharmaceutical Industries has reached an agreement with the Ministry of Health to allow for raising medicine prices through decrees that will soon be issued, according to the Chamber’s Deputy Head, Osama Rostom during the Chamber’s general meeting. The decision to increase medicine prices will include producers, distributors and pharmacies, while still required to comply with decree 499 of 2012, Rostom. ( Al Mal)
