Fifteen companies express interest to bid for Ras Sidr Airport
Fifteen local and foreign companies have expressed interest to bid for a contract to build Ras Sidr Airport. These companies include: Misr Italia, Hassan Allam, Orascom Construction, Sterling and Wilson, and China-based CNTC, and Korea-based KECEF. According to MEED Projects, the contract is in the design phrase, with an expected value of USD549mn. Award date is set for May 2018, while completion is set for December 2021.
