EU passenger cars with engine capacities of 1.3 L or less to be fully exempt from customs this week
The Egyptian Customs Authority will apply the customs duty exemption for EU-imported vehicles with an engine capacity of 1.3L within days, as part of an ongoing programme to gradually eliminate the tariff by 2019. Benefiting from this exemption are passenger car models Renault Captur and Seat Leon that both have an engine size of 1200 cc. (Al Borsa)
