EU passenger car import tariff cut a further 10%, in line with schedule
Tariffs on EU-imported vehicles have been slashed a further 10%, as part of an ongoing programme to eliminate the tariff gradually by 2019. Currently, tariffs on EU-imported cars stands at 28%, while tariffs on cars imported from other destinations stand at c40%. (Al Alam Al Youm)
