Eni launches third production unit at Egypt's Zohr gas field
Italy’s Eni announced Thursday that it has started production at the Zohr gas field’s third unit. The latest ramp-up increases Zohr’s functional capacity to 1.2bcf/d, up from the current 1.1bcf/d. The introduction of the third unit after the second unit was introduced last week ramps up production levels to reach the 2bcf/d by the of end 2018.
