Emirates NBD signs EGP2 billion loan for Egyptian Electricity Holding Company to build two power plants
Emirates NBD Egypt signed a loan contract worth EGP2 billion for the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) to finance a power plant project in the new capital with a capacity of 4,800 MW and another power plant in Kafr El-Sheik with the same capacity, as part of the Siemens power plant projects in Egypt. The loan, which will be repaid over 15 years with a three-year grace period, is considered to be one of the largest financing deals this year. (Al Mal)
