Emirates airline reports 69% drop in full year profit
Emirates airline reported a 69% fall in full-year profit on Thursday, which it blamed on higher oil prices, a strong dollar and intensified competition. The airline, owned by the government of Dubai, made a net profit of AED871mn in the year to March 31, compared with AED2.8bn in the previous year.
