Emaar Properties has awarded Athens-based Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) AED500mn contract to build its Opera Grand Tower in Dubai. It is a 65-70 storey tower, of which 56 will be residential floors. The tower will overlook the Opera House in the Downtown area. Emaar had appointed the same contractor to build the Opera House in late 2013, in a contract worth AED700mn. (MEED)
