Emaar and Meraas announce plans for 187,500 sqm Dubai Hills Estate mall
Emaar Properties (Emaar) and Meraas Holding Company (Meraas) have announced plans for a mall at their Dubai Hills Estate. Dubai Hills Mall will have 750 outlets, spread over a leasable area of 187,500 sqm. It will also feature four entertainment attractions including a cineplex, a 65,000 sqft hypermarket, seven anchor retail stores, c7,000 parking space, and a link to the Dubai Metro once an expansion project is completed. The mall is expected to mainly serve established neighbourhoods in MBR City and the catchment areas of Arabian Ranches and other communities. It is scheduled for opening in late 2019.
