Egypt issues USD1.093bn in USD-denominated T-bills at average yield of 3.62%
The Ministry of Finance sold USD1.093bn in one-year dollar denominated treasury bills to local and foreign financial institutions at an average yield of 3.62%, data from the Central Bank (CBE) showed on Monday. The minimum yield was 3.57%, while the maximum yield was 3.62%, CBE said. Bill proceeds will be utilised as a rollover to refinance previous debts. (Reuters, CBE)
