On Monday's interbank market, the dollar was traded at cEGP17.2082-17.2241 buying and cEGP17.3115-17.3519 selling, compared with EGP17.5232-17.5366 for buying and EGP17.6403-17.6581 for selling on Sunday, Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) data showed. Foreign exchange bureaus said that the rate at which the dollar is being sold is accelerating, and that they have bought it for EGP17.00-17.20 and selling it for EGP17.40. Dollar inflows into the banking system have jumped to USD11.2bn since the float, according to an unnamed CBE source. (CBE, Al Shorouk, Al Mal)
