Egypt in talks with European countries over Euro 800mn finances, International Cooperation Minister says
Egypt is negotiating for concessional loans and grants worth Euro 800mn from European countries, according to the Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr. Talks are with the African Development Bank (AFDB) to get the second tranche of the signed loans, adding to the second tranche of the International Monetary fund's (IMF) loan, Nasr said. Egypt's financial gap reaches USD30bn over the period of three years, ending on 30 June 2018, according to the government's programme adopted by Parliament. (Mubasher)
