Egypt Air negotiating USD870mn syndicated loan with state-owned banks
Egypt Air is in talks with National Bank of Egypt (NBE), Banque Misr, Banque du Caire, over arranging a syndicated loan worth USD870mn with the participation of a number of local banks. The loan will be used to contribute in financing Egypt Air’s acquisition of 33 airplanes next month. The three banks will submit their final offer to Egypt Air by end of October.
