Djezzy’s 3G network now covers all provinces in Algeria and 4G network to cover 20 provinces before end of 2016; FY16 data revenues reach DZD2bn (+57% Y-o-Y)
Global Telecom Holding’s (GTH) subsidiary in Algeria, Djezzy’s has now covered the entire 48 provinces of Algeria with its 3G network, while its 4G network is available in 16 provinces and expected to cover four more provinces before end of 2016, according to Vincenzo Nesci, GTH’s CEO. In related news, Djezzy’s FY16 data revenues grew 57% to reach over DZD2bn (cUSD18mn). Moreover, data consumption increased 35% throughout 2016, driven by 6.4mn 3G subscribers.
