China’s Foreign Ministry announces bilateral talks on currency swap
China and Egypt’s central banks are in discussions about a local currency swap and have made some initial progress, China’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lu Kang said. Kang did not provide details on whether the currency swap talks are related to talks on USD2bn loan from China scheduled for next week. (Reuters)
