China Harbor to build second container terminal at Damietta Port
China Harbor Engineering has finalised an MOU with the Port of Damietta Authority to build 2,225 metres of berths, with a water depth of 17 metres over 700,000 square metres for a two-year period. China will finance 85% of the project, with full ownership retained by the port authority. The project marks the second container terminal to be built at Damietta Port. (Port Technology)
