Chemanol completes maintenance operations at its methanol and pentaerythritol plants

Methanol Chemicals Company (Chemanol) [2001.SE] has announced that it has completed maintenance activities at its methanol and pentaerythritol plants. According to the announcement, commercial operations at the methanol and dimethylformamide plants will resume on 6 January, while the paraformaldehyde plant is set to resume on 7 January. Chemanol stated in the release that maintenance operations were concluded ahead of schedule, but that  the expected financial impact remains unchanged. Chemanol had earlier revealed an expected financial impact of SAR20 million to be recognised in 4Q2015 (SAR14.5 million) and 1Q2015 (SAR5.5 million). (Tadawul)
