CBE Governor says national plan for industries underway, calls for tax incentives
The Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), Tarek Amer, said that a national plan is in the making to boost and support the activities of the industrial sector. This comes nearly a week following the government’s announcement of the USD9.1bn stimulus package for the sector. In this regard, the Governor has called on the government to offer tax incentives to industries to support their growth.
