Egypt’s Cabinet is due to present the IMF agreement to the President and Parliament for ratification. Cabinet has reviewed all items of the agreement such as public finance and social solidarity, ahead of submitting it to the President and Parliament for final approval, Prime Minister Sherif Ismael said, adding that the delay is due to official holidays and some logistic requirements. The IMF will review Egypt’s progress pertaining the fiscal budget, growth, subsidies and domestic debt in June and September every year, Ismael explained. (Al Ahram)
