Budget deficit narrows to 5% of GDP in 1H FY16/17, Finance Minister says
Egypt's budget deficit narrowed to 5% of GDP in 1H FY16/17 from 6.3% of GDP in 1H FY15/16, Minister of Finance Amr El-Garhy said. In July 2016, the government forecast a deficit of 9.8% of GDP for FY16/17. (Reuters)
